Update

All conduit repairs and MIT Telecommunication cabling restoration have been completed as of 1pm today, Wednesday 9/13. MIT Network and services are back online.

Update

Conduit repairs continue to take place and being coordinated between Facilities, IS&T, and site contractors. We expect the repairs to be completed Wednesday enabling the fiber restoration to finish and connectivity to be restored at that time.

IS&T has confirmed that the fiber to these buildings has been damaged and is coordinating with a contractor to repair the damaged conduit.

Investigating

IS&T was alerted of an outage to these buildings. Power to the buildings has been verified. We are currently investigating potential damage to the fiber circuits for the buildings.
