MIT phone service has been restored. Zoom is reporting that the issue causing the nationwide Zoom Phone outage has been resolved. Current Zoom status can be found at https://status.zoom.us.

The MIT phone system is currently down, due to a nationwide Zoom Phone outage. In the case of an emergency, dial 911 from your cell phone. MIT is working with Zoom to investigate the issue, and we will update this banner as details become available. This outage is not impacting Zoom videoconferencing.
