We have fully investigated the issue with MMS delays to the Verizon network in the United States of America that was triggered by our automated alert system, and we have decided to combine this incident with our existing status page entry for SMS delays to the same network.
We are no longer experiencing SMS delivery delays when sending messages to the Orange and Tigo networks in Congo Democratic Republic. This incident has been resolved.
Twilio TwiML Applications were degraded for approximately 12 minutes between 7 January 4:48PM PDT and 7 January 5:00PM PDT. During this period of time, customers who attempted to create or update TwiML applications, both via the REST API and Console, may have experienced HTTP 5XX errors preventing their actions from succeeding. The issue has now been resolved.
We have fully investigated the issue causing errors when creating or updating TwiML applications that was triggered by our automated alerting system. It was determined that there is no noticeable customer impact at this time. All systems are operational, and we will file a retroactive incident shortly.
